Outbreaks and increasing the prevalence of antibiotic-resistant MRSA at pediatric hospital calls for the development of novel preservation techniques. Endolysins and bacteriophages have been used successfully to control bacterial infections in children. Endolysins were considered as a useful treatment especially for the pathogens without disturbing the normal flora, the low chance of bacterial resistance, and their ability to kill colonizing pathogens on mucosal surfaces.
